1004km behind, 1890km to go and it haven’t been a full joyride. Sydney – love at first sight

Another long flight is over. We waved goodbye to Thailand with all the good memories and flew to Sydney. Flight went smoother than the previous one, some movies, food, games, more food and no sleep. Big plus for Thai airlines, for larger leg space and better head sets. Continue Reading

From Chiang Mai, we rented a car and drove even more towards North, to the border of Myanmar (Burma), to a mountain town called Pai. It was a slow and extremely winding road with steep up’s and down’s. Just like a badly planned project. Continue Reading

We had some lovely days in Chiang Mai. Got to see the Saturday market, taste some nice street foods and soak the relaxed atmosphere of the old town. Our local guide drove us around the old town’s temples and statues, showed the gates to the city and told, with his limited English, about the life in the city. Continue Reading
